Tap any treatment to open it up. Every explanation is written the way I'd actually talk to you in the chair: simple first, evidence always behind it.
Every option here is about enhancing what's naturally yours, in harmony with a healthy mouth. Never replacing it, never rushed.
Before any aesthetic treatment begins, I make sure the foundation is solid: healthy gums, a stable bite, no untreated decay. Aesthetic work isn't layered over problems; it's built once the groundwork is right. That gives it the best foundation for the long term.
Thin porcelain shells, shaped to suit you.
Think of veneers as a custom-made "front cover" for your teeth: wafer-thin porcelain shells bonded onto the visible surface to fix chips, gaps, discolouration or shape in one go.
Well-bonded porcelain veneers are a well-documented, long-standing restorative option with strong long-term survival rates when placed conservatively and cared for properly.
Your natural shade, just brighter.
A professionally supervised whitening gel lifts coffee, tea and everyday staining, with the strength and timing tailored to your teeth.
Peroxide-based whitening under professional supervision is one of the most studied cosmetic procedures in dentistry, with a strong safety profile when concentrations and exposure times are controlled.
The full picture, planned together.
Not one treatment, but a coordinated plan: a mix of whitening, veneers, bonding or teeth straightening, mapped out around your face and what you actually want to change.
Smile design is guided by facial, dental and gingival aesthetic parameters, with digital planning and diagnostic mock-ups allowing the proposed outcome to be previewed before definitive treatment.
Small fixes, same-day results.
A tooth-coloured material is shaped directly onto your tooth to close a small gap, fix a chip, or reshape an edge, usually finished in a single visit.
Direct composite bonding is a minimally invasive, largely additive technique that preserves more natural tooth structure than veneers or crowns, making it a sensible first step for smaller corrections.
Straightening teeth, without fixed braces.
A series of clear, removable trays moves your teeth in small, planned steps. They're worn most of the day and taken out to eat, drink and brush. Straighter teeth can also be easier to clean.
Clear aligners are effective for many mild to moderate cases. Some bite problems are better suited to braces or a specialist orthodontist, so an assessment always comes first. Wearing retainers afterwards is essential to keep teeth in their new position.
For when wear, damage, or missing teeth affect more than a couple of spots. This is about rebuilding a mouth that works, and looks, like it should.
Rebuilding from the ground up.
When most or all of your teeth need attention because of wear, old dentistry breaking down or long-term damage, I combine several treatments into one coordinated, staged plan.
Full mouth reconstruction follows established restorative protocols that plan bite height and jaw position first, so the "big picture" mechanics are correct before any final restorations are placed.
A fixed, long-term replacement for a missing tooth.
A small titanium post replaces the root of a missing tooth, with a natural-looking crown on top. Unlike a bridge, neighbouring teeth aren't touched.
Titanium implants integrate with bone through a well-understood biological process called osseointegration, and long-term studies consistently show high success rates when placed and maintained correctly.
Reinforcing what's still there.
A crown is a custom cap that rebuilds a badly worn or broken tooth. A bridge uses the teeth either side of a gap to "carry" a replacement tooth without an implant.
Restorative material (e.g. zirconia, lithium disilicate or metal-ceramic) is selected according to tooth position, aesthetic demands and functional load, with well-designed restorations showing favourable long-term survival on a healthy abutment and periodontium.
The unglamorous groundwork: the stuff that quietly keeps small problems from becoming big, expensive ones.
Your regular reset.
A thorough clean to remove built-up plaque and tartar your toothbrush can't reach, plus a full check for anything worth catching early.
Regular clinical examination enables early detection of caries and periodontal disease, when management is typically less invasive, with recall frequency tailored to individual risk.
Stopping decay in its tracks.
The decayed part of a tooth is gently removed and replaced with a tooth-coloured material, sealing it back up so decay can't spread further.
Tooth-coloured composite fillings bond directly to enamel and dentine, requiring less removal of healthy tooth structure than older filling materials.
Saving the tooth, not pulling it.
When decay or damage reaches the tooth's nerve, I gently clean out the inflamed tissue and seal the tooth, relieving pain and keeping your natural tooth in place.
Root canal treatment has high long-term success rates and remains the recommended way to save a tooth that would otherwise need extraction.
The foundation nobody talks about.
Healthy gums are what actually hold your teeth in place. I monitor for bleeding, gums shrinking back or bone loss, and treat it early, before it becomes irreversible.
Gum disease is a leading cause of adult tooth loss, but early-stage disease is highly manageable with professional cleans and improved home care.
Removed when there's a clear reason.
If a wisdom tooth is causing pain, repeated infection, decay or damage to the tooth beside it, I can remove it. If it's healthy and causing no problems, I'll usually recommend leaving it in place and keeping an eye on it.
Current evidence supports removing wisdom teeth only when there's a clinical reason to. Healthy, symptom-free wisdom teeth aren't removed as a precaution.
When it can't wait.
Sudden pain, a broken tooth, or a knock to the mouth? I prioritise same-week (and where possible, same-day) appointments to get you comfortable fast.
Prompt treatment of dental trauma and acute infection significantly improves the chances of saving the affected tooth and preventing the issue from spreading.
That's exactly what the first visit is for. Tell me what's on your mind, and I'll map it out together with you.
